 Paul Butherus Football Field

The Alumni Association approached the Academy with the proposal to dedicate the football field in honor

of Major Butherus.  The dedication is scheduled for Homecoming 2008.  In order to accomplish this there

are a number of maintenance items which need to be accomplished first to bring the field into a suitable condition

The initial items needed are the installation of 25 second clocks on the field, replacement of the current

concession stand, stabilize, repair and add hand rails to the bleachers on both sides, upgrade the press box, 

repair/powerwash and paint the perimeter wall and the installation of a new drainage pipe in the stadium.
